L&M Company was founded in 1970 by Michael Nieto.  The company began servicing the New York and Connecticut areas as a residential roofing contractor and later expanded to other metropolitan areas and increased our services to include commercial and residential roofing, masonry, and exterior building restoration.

Our primary goal was to build a reputable, quality construction company that was proud of its workmanship, reputation, and willingness to stand behind our work.  We have succeeded all these years by maintaining the values that have remained part of the company today.  Our reputation is paramount to us.

My son, Marc Nieto, joined our company during this time, providing family-owned tradition and structure that large firms often lack. Over the years, our company has evolved, becoming one of the leading, most trusted exterior building contractors in the area.   Initially, our company employed one estimator and a small team of roofing mechanics; over 43 years, our qualified office staff has grown to include estimators, engineers, architects, and a sales team.  Our field staff includes construction managers, project supervisors, highly trained and skilled roofing mechanics, masons, sheet metal fabricators, carpenters, and welders in our state-of-the-art shop.

Our philosophy is one of professionalism, customer service, attention to detail, and unrivaled artistry no matter the size of the project. We strive to provide our customers with the most cost-effective plan for their project, considering your needs.  Our work is consistently high quality because each team member has been with us for many years.

For over 43 years, L&M Company has provided unsurpassed construction services to all our clients. We consider our company a one-stop exterior contractor providing detailed specifications and comprehensive proposals.  An essential factor for our customers is that once we start your project, the same team remains on your project until completion, responsible for every detail from beginning to end.  It’s great to know that your contractor will still be around for many years.
