Our commitment

L&M Roofing, a division of Nieto Contractors, Inc., wants everyone — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology — to be able to read about our work, review our qualifications and contact us through lmroofing.com.

Standard we aim for

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We do not use an accessibility overlay; fixes are made in the site's own code.

What we have done

  • A “Skip to main content” link and a declared page language on every page
  • Descriptive text alternatives on project and service images
  • Visible labels on every form field, and a visible keyboard focus indicator
  • Navigation menus that open and close with the keyboard (Enter, Tab, Escape)
  • Text and background colors adjusted to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
  • Looping and background animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion
  • Automated testing with axe-core plus manual keyboard checks of key pages

Known limitations

Some older project photos and downloadable documents (such as PDFs supplied by manufacturers) may not yet be fully accessible. Third-party content — embedded maps and the spam-protection check on our forms — is provided by outside services that we do not control. If any of these gets in your way, contact us and we will provide the information another way.
